The
Explorer / The Rolex Explorers
The
Rolex Explorer I is a chronometer developed especially
for daring men, to accompany them in hazardous conditions
and has been proved in action time after time since
1953. its performance has astonished people both for
its accuracy and its robustness. The Explorer II has
been designed for the person who, in addition to the
normal time indication, wants to know whether it is
10 o’clock am or 10pm (22 o’clock). This
is the particular case of a Speleologist.
A
Speleologist, in effect, is an Explorer in the depth
of the earth whose ‘daylight’ is supplied
by a pocket torch rather than by the sun. He soon loses
all notion of time – morning, afternoon, day or
night. The red hand of the Explorer II tells him in
conjunction with the engraved bezel whether it is 2
o’clock am or 2 o’clock pm and there is
also a date on the dial.

The
Scientist / The Rolex Milgauss
The Rolex Milgauss was designed for the specialised
personnel as scientists, engineers, electricians, technical
chemists and physicists who constantly work in high
magnetic fields which effected the regularity of their
watches.
Although
Rolex no longer produce the Milgauss model, they are
highly sought after by serious Rolex collectors. No
Rolex collection is complete without a Rolex Milgauss.
