 | Rolex Eric Clapton Red Submariner
Serial No:- 2299xxx Circa 1968 660ft/200m Dial
Bought from a friend in San Diego who bought it new.
Complements my Rolex Submariner ref 6536-1 which I received from my father back in 1968.
Love that low profile of the older Subs.

This is my very first vintage Rolex bought from a dealer in 01/2005, a watch buddy got me into this vintage Rolex thing so I decided to make a move on this great condition Red Sub.
The watch was serviced at Rolex Beverly Hills in 10/2004.

Red Sub with 660ft = 200m dial.
This is a Clapton Red 1680 that I bought from an American dealer.
The inside of the caseback indicates 4th quarter of 1972.
It has the original crystal original bezel insert and a perfect matching patina on the dial & hands.

 | Rolex Eric Clapton Red Submariner
Serial No:- 37***** Circa 1972
This 1680 Red Submariner with hacking movement was acquired by me from the original owner in 1978 and was used by myself during my commercial diving career.
I spent the 1970\\\'s diving for Taylor Diving & Salvage Co in New Orleans LA.
The watch was used by me on the 1979 oil well blowout and fire in Mexico known as IXTOC under the supervision of famous oilwell fire fighter Red Adair.
It is an excellent example of the \\\"long f\\\" type 200/660 Red Submariner and deserves a place in your fine gallery and forum.
